For the little older kids:
Our son loved to play Monopoly with us (that wasn’t really funny). We tried to play something else with him because it was a never-ending story and we didn’t like to play Monopoly, but well, once in a while, we just had to.
Then I bought dice games and it changed the game night’s atmosphere. It was just so much more fun for all of us and it didn’t take hours and hours…
Do you like Backgammon? I love playing it, but unfortunately, nobody plays with me. Maybe your kids like to play it:
Outdoor games that keep you fit

A Blackstone Griddle really helps with cooking, especially if you don’t have an outdoor kitchen. All the grease and cooking odors stay outside and you can use this griddle for almost every recipe:
If you get a griddle, you also need some easy and good-tasting recipes. Here are some recipes we like to use when we go camping. Campfire recipes
This table is so useful if you love to grill outside but don’t have enough space for food, plates, spices, etc. In addition, it is very sturdy, made out of a powder-coated steel frame but doesn’t weigh a lot. Everybody wants to be comfortable while watching the food cook on the griddle. Here are some pretty amazing camping chairs:

You can never have enough towels and blankets, especially if your preferred destination is the beach.
My favorite birthday gift for the Camper:
I love textiles and I love to decorate my camper. I like it colorful but also practical. So when my birthday came along and my husband wasn’t sure what to get me, I had the best idea: a rug for the camper.
And because it can get pretty dirty with all the dog hair and sand and stones, I wanted a washable rug. And this is what I got:

This rug has 2 layers, the top layer is washable – perfect for the camper and I also use it in my house entry. Here is a link to ruggable if you want to gift one for yourself. Best gift ever.

Camping Clothes
I have certain clothes I bring when we go camping. I like to wear comfortable pants, t-shirts, and sweaters. Nothing really fancy. We like to go on hikes, climb on rocks and do fun things outdoors. This is why my clothes have to be practical.
Log Books, Diaries to keep the memory
I love my Log Book because I can’t remember all the places we have been to.
Every trip we are going on, I write down the Campsite, Campsite number, amenities, attractions, the date we were there, who came with us, and so on. It is nice to look through this logbook and to remember all these great locations we visited.
Therefore the best gift ever I got was this Logbook and it keeps all the memories in there:
