I am Conny and I am so happy that you are here

A  little bit about me:

My passion is interior design and decorating and when I am done fixing up our house or RV, we move on to the next one, where I start designing and decorating all over again.

So far many apartments, houses, and Travel Trailers have been transformed into say – a little different looking – homes.

I don’t like the ordinary, so you will find a lot of colorful, funk, boho, and eclectic looks (or whatever you want to name it)  in my blog posts and social media.

 

 

 

I have been working as a Marketing Director for a very fashionable textile company in Germany. Moving to the US I finished my Interior Design studies at the NYIAD (New York Institute of Art and Design) in New York and started my blog ColorfulDesigner.com.

Living in Germany, Egypt, and England, and on the West and East Coast of America,  I have been influenced by a lot of different styles that I try to put all together on my blog.

 

 

We bought our first Travel Trailer 3 years ago. I was so excited to start adventures with the family in our own camper. We had rented some different models before, but never owned one.

Unfortunately, the interior was very old and dated-looking. Dark browns and beiges are not my favorite colors. So what to do?

One step after the other: I got my color scheme together and started remodeling. I had exactly 7 days to get this camper looking pretty again. Then it had to go into storage.

First I was very overwhelmed because I had never done this sort of remodel before.

But I did it – I painted and painted and decorated until I was done and satisfied.

It was so much fun to do and now feel so much better when we take the camper out on our travels all over this beautiful country.

A little bit more about me:

I have been married to Jonathen for over 20 years now. We have one son, Sean-Alec, 19, and a rescue dog, Apache, 6.

Yoga, biking, jogging, and going for lots of walks with Apache is a daily routine, traveling the world is a must-do. From these travels, I bring a lot of tips and ideas back home into my home and onto the blog.

 

So, keep inspired and keep on reading. Definitely watch me remodeling our Travel Trailer and the process of transforming him into a little Glamper.
