If you don’t want to paint, choose an accent wall to add peel and stick wallpaper. An accent wall makes a big impact on the overall look. If you have at least one bright wall in your RV your decor has a neutral and fresh background. And adding wallpaper to one wall goes fast and is easy to do.

Another fast and easy option is to add a backsplash. And it is not very expensive because you won’t need a lot of tiles. Alternatively you could also add the same wallpaper you used on your accent wall as a backsplash.

Add a pretty backsplash with peel and stick tiles in your kitchen

Remove the wallpaper border and add a pretty backsplash. Choose bright light tiles, especially if you are not painting your kitchen cabinets.

They are very easy to attach to the wall. Just make sure the wall area is cleaned, there shouldn’t be any grease on the wall in order to make the tiles stick well.

Subway tiles are pretty reasonable in price and look great if you are decorating in the farmhouse style.

Add a simple accent to your kitchen island.

You can do this very simply with plywood strips. Get wooden strips (or you can even make them with cardboard) and glue them with liquid nails onto the cabinet. Then paint it. Looks so pretty and adds to your Farmhouse Style Decor.

How should you start when updating your RV or House with Farmhouse decor?

A fresh white wall color is the perfect background for your Farmhouse decor.

You don’t necessarily need to paint your cabinets, but it makes a big difference when you have a clean background. All decor colors just look so much better, they shine, look fresh and clean.

What is a good white paint color to paint the walls?

I love to use Sherwin Williams paint, these hues are my favorites:

Snowbound HGSW4062 has a tend towards grey, Belgian White HGSW4025 is a little beige, and Greek VillaHGSW4030 is more an off-white.

But always try them out in your own surroundings, because colors change depending on different light. Check different colors during day light and also during night, with your lights turned on. Look at your samples from different views.

What is a good accent color if you decorate Farmhouse style?

I like to use black and grey as a neutral accent color in combination with leather and a medium wood color. But there are many more options you can choose from.

A plant or a wreath adds freshness to the color scheme.

What are the main colors if you want to decorate Modern Farmhouse?

Use muted colors, like an off white, a light beige, a muted blue, grey and green. All of the colors should harmonize and be in the same color tone.
