Beautiful Thanksgiving Decorations you will love (last minute)
Beautiful Thanksgiving Decorations you will love because it is so simple to do
I love Thanksgiving. I love it because every year we are traveling from the Carolinas to New York, to visit Jonathan’s family on Long Island.
We don’t really see the family during the year. So when Thanksgiving comes around, we are so happy to see all of them, at least for a weekend. It is one of my best weekends because everybody is relaxed and happy and is just enjoying each other’s company.
If you don’t have time to make decor yourself:
Here are some fast ideas you can order right away to be delivered the next day. Don’t stress out about decorating, here is what you can do last minute in a very short time:
1.Hang a garland around your mantel or decorate your dining table with it.
2.Hang up a sign or banner at your front door or in the dining room to welcome your guests:
3.A pretty tablecloth makes all the difference:
4.Hang a wreath on your front door or just use it as a table decoration:
5.Place these pretty pumpkins either at your front door or around your fireplace.
Beautiful Thanksgiving Table Decorations you will love
Because Thanksgiving is just around the corner, I am sure you made cooking plans already, made a shopping list and of course, are thinking about decorating the house. If you are running out of time, I collected some beautiful Thanksgiving Decorations for you to check out.
Here are my favorites:
I love the idea to spray painting the pumpkins for a more elegant and discrete table decoration. I don’t mind orange and brown, but sometimes it just doesn’t fit into a muted dining room color scheme.
Whites and the little sparkles of gold and silver with fresh greens are just an amazing combination.
This is how to change a pumpkin color:
Of course, I am already spray-painting my pumpkins like crazy. It is pretty easy to do. Here are the simple steps:
- Place the pumpkins outside on a covered table or similar area.
- Use a spray paint primer first
- let dry
- and then spray the color of your choice, like a pretty white in a flat finish or light grey in a matte finish.
- You might need to spray the pumpkins one more time for good coverage.
If you don’t like to spray paint, you can also use chalk paint.
- No need to prime them first.
- Use a medium-sized brush and paint them from top to bottom.
- Let them dry.
- Paint them again and let dry.
You might have some leftover chalk paint from other projects or just buy small cans.
You can always use the paint again for other projects.

Here is one of the best ideas I found on Pinterest: If you have a lot of guests coming and you need more tables but don’t have enough tablecloths:
Use a paper roll and write your guests’ names on it. If you have beautiful handwriting it can look pretty amazing.
I just love the simple and very inexpensive idea with the personal touch to it.
Be creative and write a special note to everybody or draw something on it.
Maybe your kids want to paint or draw on it, there are a lot of different ways to make it yours.
If you have a lot of kids coming over, get crayons and let them design their own table decor. They will have a lot of fun and keeps them occupied.

This is my Thanksgiving Decoration which I made during a short afternoon.
I painted a leftover wooden board in a teal color – the same color as my dining room chairs.
I bought the little pumpkins and spray-painted them silver. The greens are from a bush in my backyard.
I love to use ivory and some of my last roses fit well to add a little color to this decoration.
So whatever you have available in your backyard works. Add a candle or two and done. This Thanksgiving table decoration didn’t even cost $ 10.
These pumpkins are painted with chalk paint and look just stunning.
Love the colors and the arrangement on the board.

Beautiful Thanksgiving Decorations Chalk Boards
Did I say chalk paint? Yes of course chalkboards can be used everywhere. I exchanged a closet door with a flat slab door and painted it with chalk paint. This is usually my reminder board for the family members.
For Thanksgiving, Christmas, or Easter I use it to welcome guests or write notes on it:
There are so many more ideas to make and use a chalkboard. I love the idea to have a chalkboard in a beautiful frame.
Use it to welcome your guests, draw on it, write your menu on it, or whatever you feel like doing, you can use it for almost everything.
