Are you cruising around in your camper over the Holidays? You love to sit on the beach and escape the Holiday stress but you also don’t want to miss to decorate your Camper? Check out these Easy to make Christmas decorations for your RV and start decorating.
With limited space in a Camper, it is not that easy to decorate a lot. Just buying a tree and putting it in the middle of the camper doesn’t really work either. But here are some very creative ideas to make yourself feel very cozy in your RV.

Wall decorations for your RV/Camper:
Do you have an empty wall or a door that you can decorate? In my camper I have space on the bathroom door and this is how to decorate it:
Just add LED Christmas String Lights in the shape of a tree on the door or wall space. Use small nails or pins to fix the lights on the wall. If you want, decorate the string lights with small ornaments or just leave it as is.
This Christmas tree is made out of a garland and string LED lights. Looks stunning and you don’t even need more decor than this if you don’t have more space.
Make your own Christmas tree artwork for your RV
This is what you need to make your Christmas artwork:
- Piece of Plywood
- sample colors (2 different colors)
- a brush and or roller
- stickers (optional)
Start by painting the plywood in your favorite color. Then outline the tree with a pencil on the plywood.
Paint the tree in a different color (you can actually also make it very colorful). Of course there are many ways to decorate your ‘tree’. Add some real ornaments (use pins to do that), draw them on your tree or get stickers like stars which you can add.
If you are not into painting, here is a nice artwork that will fit in the Camper very well;
Make your own Christmas wreath
Easy to make Christmas decorations for your RV
You only need a garland and some electric candles to be safe in your RV. Make the wreath exactly the size you need it either to put on your table or hang it on the door.
Here is what you need:
If this wreath is too big, there are smaller ones you can make out of berry branches or thyme. Just be creative and see what you can find out in nature. Add some battery operated candles and small ornaments and you have a cute Christmas decoration on limited space.
I love the look of thyme wreaths, you can also use them year-round for other decoration ideas.
Or if space is really tight, why don’t you just decorate your windows with pretty lights and stars. Here are some examples:
I love decorating glass ornaments. You can be very creative and use whatever you find around the house and garden.
Buy regular ornaments, carefully take the hanging head off and fill it with:
- glass ornaments
- sand or moss (the sand is available in different colors)
- leaves (I used mint and oregano leaves)
- little decors like small rubbers you can squeeze and will fit through the opening. Check out the Dollar store for more ideas).
Put the hanging head back on, add a ribbon and hang it on your window, your fireplace mantel, or of course on your tree. Looks stunning.
Hanging stars in your window makes your RV look great for Christmas.
This is my favorite one:
Another cool look – if you like it rather simple – is to get a window curtain and hang it on the window or a wall/door you have available for display.
Or just add a couple of tree branches in a pretty vase and decorate it the way you like it.

Textiles create a cozy feeling right away
During the Holiday Season you have the desire to stay warm and cozy. The fastest way to create this atmosphere is with textiles. Blankets, pillows, rugs.

More decorating ideas for Christmas decoration:
Get into Holiday spirit by just adding some simple decorating ideas:
What about some Christmas inspired pillows? Or a pretty throw for your bed or sofa? And of course candles, lots of candles.
Candles create atmosphere
Of course candles make an RV really cozy. But for safety, use battery operated candles. Just to be safe.
Ready for Christmas?
Even in the smallest space you can create a cozy atmosphere and get ready for Christmas.
If you think there is no Christmas without a tree then just use a small one. You don’t need to set up a huge Christmas tree, you can also use a small table tree to get inspired.
Or you just get a big tree and set it up outside. Everything is possible.
So I hope I gave you some ideas how to decorate your Camper and feel cozy and warm.
I wish you Happy Holidays and hope to see you in one of the Campgrounds in January, when I travel to the West Coast in my little travel trailer.
Love from Conny
