Let’s start with 10 stunning Pumpkin decorating ideas.
Make it a pink theme this year
Paint your pumpkins pink and add some glitter for a lot of sparkle in your home. Arrange the pumpkins to a group on your fireplace mantel and add some fresh flowers.
Paint the pumpkins in your favorite color
I have a lot of sample paint collected which I am using for all kinds of decorating, stenciling or updating walls. So if you have left over paint from your house renovation, perfect, you can use it now.
If you don’t have any paint, go and get 2 or 3 paint samples at Lowes, they cost around 2 or 3 Dollars per sample.
But now you have to paint the pumpkin in your favorite color, mine is of course pink:
Add glitter for more excitement and pumpkin drama. I use Tacky Spray to add any kind of decoration onto the pumpkin. Just spray a little bit of the adhesive spray on the pumpkin and within a short time your decor sticks pretty good.
You can –
- stick stickers on to the pumpkin or
- paint a pattern.
- Try a simple design, like writing messages on the pumpkin or
- pimp them up with jewels and glitter.
- Or paint fall’s favorite pattern onto any smooth pumpkin, choose two or three colors and add fine lines and wider ones for a beautiful look.
Decorating a pumpkin can even be as easy as sticking some cute stickers on to them.
- Or cover them in lace or pretty fabric.
- Or if you have a lot of older nailpolish, grab it to create fantastic designs on the little pumpkins.
- Spray paint them in silver or gold,
- or spray paint the biggest, best-looking leaves from the lawn and glue them on the pumpkins.
There are so many ways to decorate your pumpkins. Choose which one fits the best to you.
Decoupage your pumpkins
Never heard that word before? Do you wonder what decoupage is?
Grab anything with a pattern you love – could be tissue paper, napkins or any wrapping paper and use it to create a one-of-a-kind pumpkin. All you need is Mod Podge or even better, you make your own Mod Podge which is so much cheaper. Read more about how to start with Decoupage and how to make Mod Podge yourself:

What a great way to involve the whole family and look how cute they are:
All you need is concrete, stockings and water to make these pumpkins. It is a little messy but so much fun and you can decorate them however you want to. And you can place them inside or outside.
I haven’t painted mine because they are a nice contrast to the pink and glitter of the other pumpkins.

And this is how great they look when you arrange the pumpkins on your fireplace or you decorate your dining room table with your awesome pumpkin creations.
