How do you update a Camper?
RV interior remodels done easily with the right textiles:
Number 1 – add a colorful rug (washable)
I love everything textile and pattern, it transforms a boring neutral look into an exciting atmosphere. And it is not hard to add a rug, you just need to get the right one that fits perfectly to your style.
So I found this company ruggable.com and fell totally in love with their rugs.
Now, rugs in a Camper might not be the smartest idea, especially with kids and pets running in and out of the RV all the time – but this one definitely is. Because it can be washed. And this is what makes all the difference.
So, I ordered this rug from ruggable.com, because the rug I had in my Camper was getting really dirty and had to go because it could not be washed.
Now look at this pattern – I LOVE IT!

Or this one – especially if everything is very neutral in your RV and you need a distinctive pattern that draws your eyes towards it.

Is this how your Camper looks like right now?

Pretty boring!
Everything works fine, the cabinets are in great shape, the floor covering still looks pretty good. – But you would love to make your Camper look cozier, homier, change some things, but don’t have the budget, the skills, or the time for painting and remodeling.
Let’s start with easy tips to change the inside look of your Camper! Yes, you can easily make some changes if you add a pattern and color and get away from the cohesive brown look.
Now just imagine adding a rug or a runner in front of the kitchen cabinets.

There are so many different styles and patterns available it is hard to decide which one is the best. But definitely choose a rug from ruggable.com if you have kids and pets and your Camper just gets dirty.
Why? because you can wash the rug in the washing machine. Game changer!!!
Ruggable’s rug system comes in two pieces. The lightweight, removable Rug Cover fits perfectly inside the washing machine, while the clingy, nonslip Rug Pad keeps the Cover securely in place. When it’s time for a wash, simply peel off the cover, throw it in the wash, and voilà—good as new!
This is such a great option if you have been on the defense of getting a rug. And sure, it is understandable, because going camping is not the cleanest thing to do, especially with pets.
So for me, this was an easy decision to make.
This is my favorite and I can’t wait to get it next week. And by the way, if the colors don’t look like you imagined, you can return it within 30 days.

And the rug is in the Camper. It looks exactly like I had it envisioned and it is the perfect rug for the Camper. It is not thick and fluffy, sand and stones can be easily swept off. And of course, the best thing about this rug is that it is washable. And you wonder why I am so excited about that? Well look at my old rug:

The rug she picked is not washable, but adding this colorful rug is exactly what she needed to tie all of her colors together.

Another easy and fast project to update your Camper without spending a lot of time and money is to add a pretty slipcover and some pillows and yes, – it looks so much better.

Depending on what kind of color scheme you have selected for your RV, you can add a couple of things to make your RV look so much prettier. Especially if you like the brown and rustic look of your RV, you can add some cool patterns to make the interior look more modern.

If the sofa isn’t in the best shape anymore (like mine) just add a throw cover over it:
Or how about a slip cover? There are all kinds of colors and patterns available. I like to go more neutral, so you can add colorful pillows.
Of course, you can also buy a new sofa if yours is just uncomfortable and done.

What a difference it makes, just by adding a pot of flowers, some herbs in the kitchen or some hanging plants.
It brings everything alive, and it is so easy to add. Get some ivory branches or a hanging plant and hide the ugly light fixture or use it as a window cover.
